Executive Job Description | Heavy MANUFACTURING PLANT MANAGER
A large, heqavy manufacturer of machinery is searching for a Plant Manager, Central Florida, with the following minimum experience and qualifications outlined below. Our time frame is immediate. Broad Function:
• Overall day-to-day management responsibility for facility, inventory and employees. Maintain continuity with production schedule, and advise General Manager of any operational issues that may interfere with meeting production schedule. Must have Heavy Manufacturing, metals, combustibles, heavy Machinery experience.
Responsibilities:
• Provide management leadership and direction to assigned staff maintaining effective morale, communications, and adherence to corporate mission statement.
• Provide daily operational direction to management to management team to insure operation efficiency and plant safety goals are achieved.
• Communicate effectively with General Manager and corporate support staff relative to production, inventory, quality, and/or shipping issues.
• Participate with all departments toward reducing operating costs, improve quality. Interface with outside vendors, and support fabricators to maximize service and quality.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Minimum seven years experience in Plant Leadership within medium to heavy metal fabrication manufacturing environment. Must have operational, technical, and financial knowledge. Experience in achieving P/L goals, production volume, safety targets and operating efficiency.
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
