Executive Job Description | General Manager/Vice President Canada for large U.S. based consumer products manufacturing/distribution company. Will be responsible for sales and marketing and all aspects of operations and admin. Looking for strong leader with background in consumer products. Extensive business experience as both a contributor and a manager involving retail products industry. Demonstrated track record of success implementing a well defined sales process and developing a strong sales culture. Superior business acumen. Strong process orientation and implementation skills. Comfortable taking the existing business strategy and implementing it. Consistent track record of growing revenue and profit. Experience leading change. Can evaluate current systems and processes, recommend improvements and implement appropriate changes. Highly goal-oriented, organized and self-directed. This position offers high autonomy with accountability for results. Proven track record of building, recruiting and retaining a high performing team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Executive presence and polish. Undergraduate degree. MBA a plus. 1. Reinvigorate and expand existing channels of distribution by ensuring that company is positioned to partner with the often fickle marketing requirements of accounts. 2. Reorient management team perspective from "following the leader" to taking the lead in their respective disciplines. Coalesce team to strive towards common goal(more unit sales!). 3. Diversify customer concentration. 4. Explore marketing through new channels of distribution. 5.Develop business strategy and goals for new product development. Make brand one that is recognized for relevant innovation in its space.
