The Executive Director is responsible for the overall administration, management, and coordination of this program statewide. The ED is the primary contact for the client, and represents the organization in the provider community. It is the ED’s responsibility to ensure that all deliverables are met on a timely basis; to assess and improve services, productivity, outcomes and processes while collaborating with corporate and local functions.
This critical position requires a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare/business discipline, Masters Degree or PHD strongly desired. Minimum 10 years experience in progressively responsible positions in the health care field, preferably working with managed care and/or public sector populations. Experience with chronic disease management, case management, health and wellness strongly preferred. Experience with managing P&L for divisions, locations or cost centers with budgets exceeding 1 to 30 million. Familiarity with health information, health information technology and related trends and applications. Familiarity with reports and reporting, managing metrics, and productivity measures. Ability to understand and interpret regulations as well as contractual language. Candidates must be based in Tennessee.
