Executive Job Description | POSITION: DEPUTY DIRECTOR, Army IDIQ PROGRAMS LOCATION: MARYLAND or NORTHERN VIRGINIA SECURITY CLEARANCE: SECRET RELOCATION: Yes
POSITION DESCRIPTION The Deputy Director provides organization leadership, business development, growth strategies and manages multiple program and contract deliveries that exceed $150M. This position provides oversight and leadership for a contract portfolio of multiple Army and DOD task order contracts and a team of 150 plus. Responsibilities may include: • P&L for IDIQ contracts and task orders for large U.S. Army and multi-national clients • Program performance, profitability, delivery, client and contract management • New business development and proposal and capture management • People management: employment, retention, performance and professional development • Reports directly to the Division Vice President and General Manager (Division is $350M) and will be responsible for the business segment.
REQUIREMENTS Basic Requirements • 10+ years management experience • An active US Government Secret Security Clearance, Top Secret preferred • BS degree, advanced degree preferred
Technical Requirements • Experience leading large Army / DOD IDIQ Task Order driven programs. • Experience managing multiple subcontractors • P&L and/or strong financial management background • Strong Client management experience and Business Development history
Desired Skills • CECOM and/or R23G related experience a major plus • Experience managing large teams • Experience managing across multiple functional areas: Business/ Proposal, Development, Contracts Administration, Financial Management and Human Resources Management • Management experience with a major defense firm • Communications / advanced technical network implementation and support • Experience pursing and managing GSA contract vehicles
