Executive Job Description
This role will work closely with our clientˇ¦s President and CEO to develop and implement a broad business vision, mission and strategic plan; including long range and annual objectives that are compatible with the best interests of owners, customers and employees. Our client is wholesale supply distributor with over 25 locations across the United States. We are seeking a well-rounded operations leader with a similar industry background, ideally with prior experience in a family-owned business.
Qualified candidates will be dynamic, experienced Operations professionals who possess the following qualifications and experience:

„« 10 ˇV 15+ years experience with continuous career advancement culminating in an executive leadership role with responsibility for multiple business operations, including Administration, Sales, and Operations in a multi-branch industrial distribution industry.

„« Ability to create and execute long range strategic initiatives as well as the day to day management of the company operations

„« Strong skills in the area of business and corporate development, including upper-level executive experience with strategic planning, general operations, sales, marketing, budgeting, P&L responsibility and human capital management

„« Proven ability to effectively do tactical management, strategic leadership and work in a sales-oriented environment.

„« Strong financial management experience with the ability to make tough ROI decisions

„« Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate the company vision to all parties including employees, customers and owners.

„« Proven ability in leading, coaching and counseling; performance management; training; and mentoring employees to maximize the contribution of each individual and get results through others utilizing metrics and Key Predictive Indicators

„« A collaborative management and leadership style that maximizes both team and individuals effectiveness

„« Experience identifying mergers and acquisition opportunities

„« Proven track record of success in a family owned business

„« Strong customer service orientation and ability to build and maintain close/intimate relationships over a long period with clients beyond the typical information exchange

„« Bachelor's degree; Masterˇ¦s or advanced degree a plus

„« Computer skills, including Office and ERP experience in distribution (INFOR)

„« Ability to travel up to 75 ˇV 80%
