Executive Job Description | Our client is a provider of edge-to-core Managed IT Infrastructure Services and Solutions. The business is a small business of under 50 employees with great growth potential. THIS IS A NO RELOCATION POSITION. Regional candidates only will be considered.
The CEO will lead aggressive market share and revenue growth with a focus on achieving or exceeding revenue and EBITDA targets. The qualified individual will create, implement and execute strategic objectives for profitable expansion throughout all market segments.
The CEO will be responsible for the following: Revenue Generation Plan, develop and implement strategies for leveraging company services and assets to highest value customers and segments. Develop company priorities focused on expedient revenue generation. Lead the lean organization to a culture of financial performance accountability with a sense of urgency.
Marketing & Sales Develop go to market strategies and materials including customized value propositions per channel and/or customer. Direct and coordinate all aspects of company sales and marketing functions. Establish and monitor sales goals; monitoring results and taking remedial actions to achieve or exceed objectives; developing and maintaining sales measurement matrix for evaluation of sales effectiveness.
Budget & Planning Develop and implement strategic plans, forecasts and budgets. Analyze financial information to determine performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
Finance & Accounting Oversee, direct and ensure the integrity, preparation, review, analysis and timely submission of all financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheet and cash flow statements. Cash management and strategic planning for all operating areas of the company including analysis, tax structuring and compliance. Ensure proper accounting policies, procedures and internal controls are in place to safeguard the assets of the company and to ensure that all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Develop and enforce company policies with regard to travel, entertainment, and expense capitalization.
Operations Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans for improving processes throughout the organization integrating, sales, marketing, operations, product development, customer service and training. Maximize operational efficiencies including investigating and introducing process improvement measures. Administer policies and procedures to enhance successful product implementation, training, exceptional service and strong customer relations.
Human Resources & Leadership Lead and align management team with priorities. Direct all human resources activities including recruiting, employee relations, employee development, performance management and organizational design.
CANDIDATE REQUISITE EXPERIENCE: The successful candidate will possess the following traits, attributes and experiences: Demonstrated track record of success as a CEO or President leading significant growth in an information technology services company. Proven leadership experience as a hands-on, entrepreneurial and proactive business builder. Preference for CEOs who have experience with private equity and/or venture capital investors who have led a business to a successful exit. Successful results leading strategic planning and execution in a small company environment. The ideal candidate must be able to quickly develop an understanding of the organizations assets and services to promptly drive revenue and market share growth. The individual should be an inspiring leader and as well as an independent and creative business thinker who possesses creativity and visionary talents. The ideal candidate will have sophisticated communication skills and experience required to deal proactively and effectively with a highly skilled technology teams and complex technologies. S/he will possess the operating skills required to run a capital-efficient, disciplined business.
