Nature of Work and Job Dimensions
This is a critical and high impact role for the company, which has been on a journey of rapid transformation from a legacy, highly regulated telephone company to an entrepreneurial customer-centered organization invested in meeting needs of wireless and enterprise users while continuing to maximize returns from legacy wireline businesses.
The position reports to the CFO and works closely with the COO, VP of IT and the Corporate Controller. The position will lead teams with the following functional areas of responsibility.
•End to end revenue assurance •Revenue requirements for regulated wireline revenue streams •Credit, billing and collections •Bill verification of third party network costs
The position is an indispensable contributor to the Company’s top and bottom line performance as well as an agent to accelerate cash inflows by minimizing order to cash cycles.
Critical performance areas:
•For end to end revenue assurance, the position will drive the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive framework to ensure the integrity, dependability and functionality of all links in the revenue management chain; ensure the revenue assurance function maintains pace with the rapid rate of innovation and change in underlying operations; require excellent prioritization skills and creativity in devising effective revenue assurance solutions; and outstanding interpersonal skills to drive effective partnerships with teams throughout the organization to address existing revenue leakage exposures and to negate the risk of future exposures.
•For revenue requirements for regulated wireline revenue streams the position requires a deep understanding of how to maximize revenue streams in either price cap (preferred) or rate of return or environments.
Prior Education and Experience:
•College degree •12+ Years of progressive management experience in telecommunications •Important areas of direct experience include: oRevenue assurance leadership for wireline and/ or wireless operations oActively managing regulated revenue streams from traditional wireline business. Specific experience working in a price cap regulated environment preferred oActive management of credit, billing and collection functions •Hands on knowledge of Process Improvement
