POSITION: Tax Manager – ACCT#330 Consulting – Financial Institutions
LOCATION: Illinois – Chicago Area
QUALIFICATIONS: CPA – Certified Public Accountant Must currently be with public accounting or consulting firm. Bachelors degree in Accounting or closely related field At least 6 years of financial institution tax compliance and consulting experience
CAREER OPPORTUNITY: The successful candidate will possess the ability to plan client engagements, provide tax consulting services, supervise and review work of team staff members, and work closely with clients as well as internal managers and partners. As part of our team, the Tax Manager will be responsible for: Managing tax assignments and related projects Assignments include planning and coordinating the flow of information with the client, preparing complex tax returns, supervising staff, reviewing work papers and tax returns, reviewing tax provisions on audit and review engagements, researching and resolving technical issues, and participating in the billing and collection process Playing a significant role in the professional development of staff members Recognizing opportunities for providing additional services to clients Marketing technical specialty or expertise to clients Performing tax planning and research, and resolves complex tax issues Giving recommendations to clients Conducting internal training courses or seminars on specialties Maintaining regular contact with assigned clients SALARY: Based on Experience - $ Thank you for taking the time to share this information with your business colleagues.
