TAX MANAGER – TRANSFER PRICING

Reports to: Head of Transfer Pricing – Day to Day operations
Head of Tax Research & Planning (Wholesale) – regional level

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with internal subject matter experts and external advisors where appropriate in performing transfer pricing review, economic analysis and determining a supportable approach for effecting global transfer pricing policy.
• Coordinate and implement Transfer Pricing policies in the U.S. and provide assistance in all global transfer pricing initiatives.
• Interact and liaise with the finance and tax experts across the bank on transfer pricing related issues and projects.
• Prepare U.S. transfer pricing documentation and assist with the preparation of corresponding foreign transfer pricing documentation.
• Work with the legal department and the transfer pricing team in developing and maintaining cross-border and domestic intercompany agreements.
• Work with the regional and country tax teams on global project coordination.
• Assist with tax planning opportunities, transfer pricing risk management, compliance of transfer pricing policy and FIN 48 analysis.
• Assist in the preparation and review of U.S. tax filings relating to international transactions, including Forms 5472.
• Support Head of U.S. Audits during exams on issues arising from transfer pricing audits.

• Strong Team Player
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be detailed oriented
• Highly motivated self-starter who can work without a lot of supervision and guidance

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with an advanced degree in economics or tax
• 7+ years of transfer pricing experience with financial institutions or public accounting
• Solid understanding of U.S. Transfer Pricing regulations
• Good understanding of foreign Transfer Pricing regulations and OECD requirements
