Executive Job Description	Title: Sr. Manager Tax—Top 20 CPA firm Location: Northern NJ Pay Rate: up to $140K Description: Education: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting. • Advanced degree in Taxation or J.D. or a CPA License. • Bachelor’s degree and a CPA license is required or an MS in taxation. Experience: • Minimum of 6 Years in a Public Accounting environment. • Experience in using tax preparation software. Skills: • Computer Literacy, including strong excel skills. • Ability to work within a team environment. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities: Tax Related Responsibilities • Research and consulting on complex tax matters. • Review of tax returns. • Communication with clients and maintenance of client relationships. • Management, development, training and mentoring of staff and seniors. • Tax planning with a wide variety of clients. General Responsibilities • Oversee, train, and develop staff as well as provide informal and formal feedback regarding their performance. • Review and maintain budgets. • Keep partners updated about the status of the engagement. • Maintain client relations. • Answer various questions from staff that is working on engagements. • Supervise client billing. • Visit potential client sites for business proposals.
