1. Operations support: Lead the coordination of all resources (internal (functional, COE, AMS) and external (functional, AMS)) that belong to application maintenance or projects within the functions mentioned above or are working on projects in other functions that have a Finance deliverable.
2. Project/Program portfolio management and delivery: Manage and deliver the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): o Functional solution evaluation o Functional Process / Solution Lifecycle o Functional Standardization (drive next level of global standardization) and Governance o Development of new differentiating capabilities (innovation) within the function o Functional Business Blueprint o Functional process and solution documentation spanning the whole lifecycle o Functional design, build, test o Bundling with the guidance Build once and deploy multiple times o Functional system configuration o Assist in CET bundle development Manage and deliver the program / project management (PMI) for all Finance initiatives globally: o Monitor progress against schedule and project budget with assigned project managers. o Manage the budgeting/forecasting/allocations of appropriate resources to deliver project results. o Manage multiple functional projects or simple cross-functional projects where Finance is the main driver o Track project performance, cost tracking, and other metrics to assess and report progress. o Mentor the IS Global Business Solution Finance organization globally in project and resource management. o Anticipate potential obstacles that may prevent project from staying within authorized budget/schedule. Assess health of project and take necessary action with the Finance Business leadership team to return to original schedule.
3. CIO Office Integration Assist the CIO Shared Services Finance and Regional CIO Shared Services Finance organizations by leveraging functional and regional Finance knowledge to establish a global blueprint that enables regional specificity as needed. Assist in the development of key CET bundles as necessary.
Partner with Finance CIO organizations to deliver Finance operational systems support and delivery of strategic initiatives for Finance. Lead the global IS Global-Business-Solution Finance team Responsible for business & process solutions Design, develop and source applications Coordinate and interface with regional CIOs / groups for delivery of solutions Design, Development & Deployment related Project Mgmt. and Program Mgmt. of all solutions Clarify roles/responsibilities between outsourced partners and Whirlpool Applications Support and Development Business process scope includes all Finance related processes globally
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of 5-7 years experience managing global Finance projects in an SAP environment. 2. Experience in leading a team across multiple locations and leading programs. 3. Knowledge of the Finance business models and technologies which support those areas. 4. Exposure to global SAP Finance, Controlling, Consolidation, Treasury and Financial Supply Chain Management projects is highly desired. 5. Experience in managing programs to a pre-determined set of deliverables within an IT Governance driven model. 6. Uses professional concepts, company policies, and procedures to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways. 7. Receives no instruction on routine work and general instructions on new assignments. 8. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
