Executive Job Description	POSITION: Controller – FL SUMMARY: Responsible for managing the Business Unit’s overall profitability through financial analysis and support that creates value, improved business results and expanded growth. Reporting to Corporate, Region and Local Management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare monthly forecast and annual operating budgets as directed by management. • Prepare weekly cash flow forecast as directed by management. • Provide and manage the necessary financial analysis and support necessary • Provide timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting to Corporate, Region and Local Management. • Responsible for ROI analysis on fixed asset/equipment purchases for business expansion, plant/distribution efficiencies and for potential new customers. • Participate in the monthly closing process as directed by management. • Complete detail review of Business Unit balance sheet and financial statements monthly to ensure compliance with GAAP. • Ensure that all controls and procedures are implemented and consistently enforced. • Responsible for all aspects of plant/cost accounting including inventory accountability, standard cost maintenance and Federal Market Report. • Responsible for providing accurate cost data to the General Manager and General Sales Manager to assist in establishing or adjusting monthly materials cost • Responsible for ensuring that there are adequate controls and proper approvals in place for all price changes and that they are being adhered to. • Participate in monthly pricing conference calls and analyze results of the process. • Supervise one financial analyst, two plant accountants and two accounting clerks. QUALIFICATIONS: • College degree in Accounting or Finance • MBA or CPA level candidates preferred • 5 to 10 years of managerial experience • Must have Accounting experiences in plant, factory or industrial settings; food/beverage manufacturing preferred • Strong preference for progressive job advancement and long job tenure with Fortune 500 manufacturing or industrial company • Ross, JDE or SAP accounting systems experience will be beneficial
