Description: The Tax practice provides outbound and inbound structure planning, foreign tax credit, world-wide tax minimization planning, transfer pricing analysis, FAS 109, foreign assignment planning and general international business advice.
The International Tax Practice is one of our fastest growing groups and is offering an excellent career opportunity to a motivated International Tax Director to join the team!
The International Tax Director will be responsible for:
- Providing timely, high quality client service that increases shareholder value
- Being a catalyst to assisting existing clients international needs and be a sought out technical specialist to attract new clients to the firm
- Building an international tax presence in our Dallas or Houston office. - Initiating cross selling to other practices
Job Requirements
Ten or more years of corporate tax experience, with several years focused on international taxation
Experience with other large accounting firms, law firms or large corporate tax departments of a multinational company is required
Consulting and compliance experience is needed
Excellent research skills and strong written and verbal communication skills required
Excellent project management and presentation skills required
Prior supervisory experience required
Bachelors in accounting, master's in taxation, master's in accounting or JD/LLM (with undergrad in a business-related field) required
CPA preferred
Some domestic and international travel required
