Executive Job Description | We are working with one of the largest and best known health systems in the Southeast. The healthcare system has 8 hospitals, 900 multispeciality doctors in 60 clinic sites, achieved Magnet Nursing status, been named by US News and World Report as one of the best healthcare systems in the nation.
Our client is looking for 2 Directors of Hospital Revenue Cycle:
1. Director - Hospital Revenue Cycle for Blue Cross (largest mged care payor) and Medicaid AR (HMO).
This Directors will report to the AVP of Hospital Revenue Cycle, supervise 30 FTEs with 2 Revenue Cycle Managers. Responsible for the strategic planning, direction and overall accountability for proper billing and collections. of Blue Cross and Medicaid Accounts Receivable for all Central Business Office (CBO) hospitals. In addition to overall Blue Cross and Medicaid AR responsibility, the Director will have responsibility for monitoring, reporting and communication of matters impacting one of more Hospital facilities Accounts Receivable. The Director must maintain excellent and productive relationships with colleagues, facility leadership, physicians, physician groups, and third party payers. Responsible for evaluating billing, denial and follow-up trends and associated metrics to implement mitigation plans and educational requirements, including follow-up edit consultation, education, and KPIs for the Health System’s Revenue Cycle. Independently makes decisions that could seriously affect the overall division and/or the Health System’s financial objectives, performance objectives and strategic results.
2. Director - Hospital Revenue Cycle over Managed Care and Speciality AR covering all the other managed care payors (Aetna, Cigna, HealthSpring, etc) and the speciality AR like Transplant, Dialysis, etc..
Responsible for the strategic planning, direction and overall accountability for proper billing and collection of Managed Care Payers, Commercial, Workers Compensation and Specialty Service Line AR for all Central Business Office (CBO) hospitals. In addition to this responsibility, the Director will have responsibility for monitoring, reporting and communication of matters impacting one of more Hospital facilities Accounts Receivable. The Director must maintain excellent and productive relationships with colleagues, facility leadership, physicians, physician groups, and third party payers.
