Executive Job Description | Highly regarded Boston employer is seeking to expand their Payroll Team with a payroll specialist with a particularly strong background experience and expertise with global payrolls. You will be expected to be the Analyst serving as the payroll subject matter expert for all international offices and expatriate employees.
Responsibilities will include: •Successful completion of payroll cycles for Non-U.S. locations; •Review payroll tax updates to ensure meeting compliance requirements; •Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax filings and reporting requirements; •Liaison and coordination with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams as needed; •Maintenance of internal controls and continuity plans; •Respond to employees, vendors, and colleagues on payroll-related questions •Vendor (payroll services) relationship management; •Collaboration / communication on payroll issues with Treasury, Tax and Human Resources on an ongoing and as needed basis;
Requirements: •BS/BA degree required; •A minimum of 5 years of international payroll experience is essential; •A record demonstrating a collaborative style of working across functions and with external vendors is very important; •Advanced Excel required as is proficiency with other MS tools; •Effective verbal and written communication skills with a very professional presentation required; •Experience handling expat payroll and tax issues desired; •A professional services industry background would be most attractive; •The individual we seek must have demonstrated leadership and mentoring instincts as this is a management tracked opportunity.
