Executive Job Description | Corporate Audit Manager
Global Consumer Products Manufacturer Growth Oriented Opportunity Compensation to $120K
Description:
Supervise various audit projects of which contribute to the productivity and accounting / administrative control of facilities by conducting (personally and through assistants) operational and financial audits. Also, will conduct special inquiries and investigations as well as prepare reports which contain the consequential findings and recommended corrective actions. • Review, update and enforce Internal Audit programs and standards on a regular basis. • Write and edit audit reports for the review and approval of the Vice President. These reports will include the requirements and interests of the senior operations management of the facilities based upon audit findings to improve operational and financial controls. • Estimate the validity of automated financial systems and controls, and create techniques for auditing through the computer and software reviews. • Complete asset valuation studies and other merger/acquisition due diligence reviews. • Conduct special projects as assigned by the Vice President, Internal Audit. • Coordinate with the independent auditors, to ensure the maximum return from the audit resource. • Observe implementation of recommendations made by both the internal and independent auditors to ensure improvements in systems and controls. • Conduct and organize operational, financial and EDP audits for facilities referred to above to ensure (a) the adequacy of controls and (b) the protection of the Company's assets. • Support in the growth of a rotational audit plan for all domestic production and distribution facilities. • Create and implement internal programs to determine the adequacy of existing controls. Qualifications: Candidate must have a CPA 5 years + accounting experience in a public firm. “Big 4” experience highly preferred Strong leadership, project management and communication skills required.
