Controller with durable manufacturing experience preferably in fabrication / assembly sector with revenues of at least $20 Mil. Must have strong business acumen who can identify where financial opportunities exist and be capably to move to VP of Finance in 2-3 years. Low 6 Figures compensation. Responsibilities Develop sales financial plan, analyze variances and trends, develop reports by product, by channel, by salesperson, by customer for the assigned product line on a quarterly and annual cycle (volume, price erosion, gross to net, foreign exchange, etc.) Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements Submit monthly General Ledger and other data into corporate consolidation software Prepare monthly management reports Prepare monthly and “upon request” sales and gross margin reports Prepare cost analysis upon request Prepare and analyze cost structure and underlying changes in cost as it relates to profitability analysis Recommend actions necessary to achieve financial goals to Operating Company Support development and analysis of assigned SG&A budgets within Sales, Marketing and R&D Direct administration of off-invoice revenue accounting & analysis in support of customer facing contract obligations (rebates, commissions) Support development of business cases for target budgets, new products, new customers, acquisitions, etc. Maintain/audit key data structures to secure quality data behind the reporting & analysis processes Support Corporate Finance project initiatives Maintain internal controls based on SOX guidelines Study best practices between related operating companies Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business (Masters degree a plus) with a minimum of 5 years progressive experience in all facets of financial control, including accounting department management, sales, general ledger, operations, budgeting & reporting and standard costing from a manufacturing environment required (fabrication and assembly strongly preferred) Must have a strong business acumen and understand manufacturing with the ability to seek out and implement opportunities to increase revenue and decrease costs Experience in Oracle, ERP and related systems a plus Intermediate skills in Excel required Power user level of innovation & proficiency working with ERP information systems & query tools Proficient in Microsoft Office tools Strong experience managing offsite locations, internal customers and partners Strong presentation, negotiation and communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to grow to the next level of responsibility Must be able to travel up to 25-40% initially with travel time diminishing after period of time To apply send resume, salary history, and reason for desired job change to jim@jimeverettrecruiter.com and call 817-233-8800 when sent.
