Executive Job Description | ROLE: CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER- INVESTMENT OR QUANTITATIVE SOFTWARE SALES
Purpose of Role:
An exciting opportunity has opened up on the Client Services team for an ambitious and driven individual to cover specific life insurance accounts. Reporting to the Head of Insurance, North America, this role primarily involves account management to existing clients while also seeking to establish the growth for the company through seeking new opportunities with current clients/sectors and assisting in selling to new prospective clients/sectors. In particular, it is expected that the individual will be heavily involved in supporting the marketing and sales of new economic capital suite of products and services.
There is scope to take on further account management and sales responsibility with increased experience, as well as to contribute to the thought leadership and technical direction of the company.
Role and Responsibilities: • Provide client service and account ownership to existing clients. • Manage day to day client demands and questions and either solve these directly or in conjunction with Client Service Associates to provide an appropriate response to the client. • Create new business contacts through managing existing client relationships; cross sell to existing clients to build overall recurring revenue and seek wider services/consulting opportunities. • Provide market feedback to the product proposition team to help them inform direction of future product development. • Work with current clients to understand business challenges and advise them how products and services can assist. • Ensure clients get the most from the relationship with engaging with research and product management. • Work with the Head of Insurance, North America, to present to prospective clients, answer RFPs and other invitations to tender, provide presentation material to show Firms modelling expertise.
Requirements:
Education • A strong first degree, preferably in a numerate discipline (e.g. mathematics, statistics, physics etc). • An actuarial or other relevant professional qualification an advantage but not essential.
Essential Experience: • Previous experience of account and relationship management in financial services sector or responsibility for delivery of small projects (or well-defined parts of larger projects). The above could be gained in a consultancy, (re)insurance or software company environment. • Relevant experience and understanding of the life insurance industry, minimum 2-3 years. • Previous experience of using MS Office at an advanced level.
Desirable Experience: • Previous practical or academic exposure to stochastic asset models preferably within the life insurance industry. • Previous financial modelling experience. |
