Executive Job Description | Chief Financial Officer Northeast Metropolitan Area
Our client seeks a CFO with global IP perspective - someone who can aid in taking this successful group to the next level - someone that has been involved in every aspect of Private Equity fund management: from investment management and oversight, to controller and treasury functions, to investor relations. Deep knowledge of IP assets is secondary to core financial and CFO skills.
Responsibilities:
All financial activities of the fund and its portfolio companies Guide and manage the finances of these entities Recruit and establish portfolio execution teams Relationship management interacting with investors, board members, senior management and teams Operational role enterprise-wide Strategic partnering
Requirements:
Previous fund experience is a must Knowledge of Intellectual Property monetization and licensing experience is a definite plus Acquisition and divestiture of IP assets and IP transaction experience Knowledge of international monetary policies and tax issues Dealing with numerous investors, investment funds and foreign governments, as well as fund raising activities Ability to articulate and orchestrate a common strategy and vision, exuding confidence to investors, partners, as well as internal teams and departments Deal with intricate financial instruments/complex deals Budgets, IT, facilities, outsourcing, administrative and HR responsibilities Pacific Rim experience a plus Credible experience as a CFO and verifiable record of achievement and success Someone who has been involved in every aspect of Private Equity fund management from investment management and oversight, to controller-like functions and shareholder relations
