Our Client is a top 25 CPA firm with offices in the Northeast. No relo provided, only consider local candidates. Client prefers candidates out of mid-size public accounting firms. Position is based in Bridgewater, NJ.
This role will provide business services (tax, accounting & advisory services) to small businesses.
CPA preferred but not required.
Requirements
5-10 years experience in a small to medium size CPA firm; Strong communication skills; Understanding of general ledger; Federal and NJ tax compliance experience; Experience in preparing GAAP and tax basis financial statements; Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills; Independent thinker
Duties
Manage small business client base, business consulting, tax planning, supervise staff, assist with department management, billing and collections, practice development, review all work product relating to write-up work, financial statemsent preparation, business and personal tax returns, work closely with officers/partners in meeting and setting up new clients.
