Executive Job Description	Responding must be local to Boston area. Boston based private manufacturer with a strong growth profile and record of stability (no RIF in 40 years!), is seeking an Accounting Manager with strong systems and GAAP skills. Reporting to the Corporate Controller you will own all accounting operations through close and be responsible for producing period financials. This is a flat organization that calls for a confident professional with very strong interpersonal skills and instincts. As the firm is poised for expansion into international markets, any experience with non-US operations and related treasury / FX issues would be of significant interest. Superior communication skills are important. Manufacturing and some public accounting employment experience is required. Responsibilities: •Manage all accounting to close; •Review of financials and provide some commentary on variances; •Support audit activities; •Coordinate with manufacturing plant operations as needed; •Manage all accounting process and control changes; •Interface with Tax and Treasury staff as needed; •Provide technical guidance to 2 staff and 3 accounting clericals. Requirements: •BS Accounting required •Must have worked for a manufacturer with revenues that exceeded $100 million •2 or more years in public accounting required with a CPA or eligibility of significant interest •8 to 10 years of professional experience required •3 or more years in a technical leadership role required •Strong full cycle accounting experience with some knowledge of treasury required •Strong written and verbal communication skills Total compensation will be in the $100k range plus full benefits package.
