Executive Job Description	I am looking to fill the position of Senior Transmission Planning Engineer. The position can operate in the Denver, Colorado office or others they have in the Midwest. The engineer must be able to independently and effectively work on projects with our clients, understand the concept of project management and possess the skills to be able to work effectively in team environments. The candidate must possess strong verbal and written communications skills. The candidate must be willing to assist in the pursuit of new clients. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a Master's preferred and a minimum of 10 years of industry experience in transmission planning and a PE registration is required. Experience with renewable energy distribution systems is a plus. Experience should include modeling and analysis of a system's voltage stability, power delivery, and reactive compensation equipment. The engineer will work as a technical lead and be expected to lead and mentor others as well as to promote the business of transmission planning. Active involvement in industry organizations, committees, and standards groups is a plus. Proven experience in system modeling and analysis software including PSSE and EMTP as well as Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access) is required.
