Executive Job Description | Our client is the leading supplier of power supply systems for industrial and institutional facilities both domestically and abroad. They are seeking an enthusiastic Electric Power Engineer to join their innovative organization. As the Electric Power Engineer, your expertise will be invaluable as you provide the electrical design for the client projects. The high visibility of the position offers a platform for the right candidate to achieve immediate recognition while designing on-skid electrical systems including generators, switchgear, protective relays and electrical control components and devices in this "green" position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Specify & order system components
• Design on-skid electrical systems including generators, switchgear, protective relays and electrical control components & devices; prepare electrical drawings
• Design of electrical interfaces between company scope and customer facility
• Equipment, component & system inspection, testing & quality control
• Preparation of operations & maintenance manuals
• Preparation of electrical portion of proposals
Requirements:
• BS in electrical engineering
• 5+ years experience in industrial electric power system design & associated calculations, including medium voltage
• Strong demonstrated command of the fundamental principles and theory of electrical engineering
• Experience with project having a lifecycle greater then 3 moths and requiring the management of multiple internal and external and external resources.
• PE License
• Excellent technical and analytical ability
• Proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively in a project team.
• Organized, attention to detail
• Must be able to prioritize effectively and juggle a variety of tasks simultaneously
