Executive Job Description | Our client is seeking highly motivated Design Engineers with experience on rotating components including turbo-machinery, shafts, rotors, airfoils, compressors, turbines, bearings, and seals are being sought to work on the next generation of commercial and military gas turbine engines. Product design engineering candidates will create, modify and evolve manufacturing product designs to meet weight and cost targets within schedule.
Major responsibilities are to integrate the requirements of the supporting disciplines (aerodynamics, performance, structures, thermal management, manufacturing and assembly, etc.) and develop hardware definition that conforms to the specified requirements for the task.
The Design Engineers will work in integrated product teams, as contributors to developing conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs of engine components. They will be responsible for design configuration, analysis and trade studies, defining and balancing performance, cost, weight and production requirements, and identification of risk mitigation strategies. They will lead or participate on multi-disciplinary product teams to develop and produce new hardware, resolve supplier or customer problems, advance component technology or mechanical design methods.

Qualifications
BSEE is required.
7 years of experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or manufacturing related to design is required
Proven success in working in a team environment is required.
