Executive Job Description | The Acoustic Engineer provides leadership and management of the structural design of turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of Gas Turbine and Renewable Energy based power plants worldwide. The chosen candidate will be working as the single-point contact with the Project Manager, you will lead a project team consisting of internal and external engineering resources, supporting design, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, logistics, construction, and commissioning of various projects. Activities include detailed project design execution and review, and general project management.
Responsibilities * Supports new project Bid & Proposal activity by ensuring offered scope of supply is in full alignment and compliance with contract specifications and requirements. * Identify potential commercial and technical execution risks and recommend mitigation actions. * Prepare preliminary conceptual designs for relevant sections of project scope, complete with budgets, to ensure they adequately cover design and scope of supply requirements. * Following contract award, move the preliminary design into the detailed design phase supporting project deliverable and procurement requirements. * Review and update relevant project specific specifications in a clear and complete manner. * Coordinates closely with Project Manager and internal organizations regarding any requested changes in scope or design and ensures that agreed changes are quickly communicated to all affected groups. * Manages scope and design integration activities to reduce technical and execution risk and improve overall margins on the project. * Provide detailed industrial acoustic design direction to ensure project near field and far field sound levels are achieved and verified. * Provide detailed design review of structural drawings, including dimensional and configuration checks. * Provide detailed review of structural drawings to ensure accurate accounting of sub assembles and systems with respect to vendor supplied documentation to ensure accurate and successful integration. * Support project execution by providing answers and clarifications to the field as required. * Support project closeout with timely update of as built drawings and project documentation.

Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Structural Engineering is required. 6 – 10 years experience in gas turbine or equivalent component design and development in a fast-paced environment is required. Proven success in working in a team environment is required. Strong communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) are required. Candidates must be either current US Citizens or Green Card holder. |
