The eServices Leader will be responsible for the vision, strategy and development of NA Commercial Business’s online marketing efforts and eServices strategies. He/she will work to develop and execute integrated online marketing plans, leveraging the company's website and online and social media marketing to deliver profitable business growth. The eServices Leader will develop a holistic online strategy that supports our clients NA Commercial Business's brand, communicating its leadership in the industry. The person will have responsibility for the company’s NA website, ensuring it achieves a leading online user experience, generating increased site visits and business leads. He/she will also develop a holistic, B2B social media strategy that supports and enhances each business units' strategy; building awareness and interest among prospects and a deeper and richer relationship among clients. He/she will ensure all online marketing strategies meet corporate brand objectives, are strategically aligned and portray the brand appropriately and consistently.
The successful candidate will ensure the proper tools and metrics are in place to measure online programs and website performance. He/she will provide actionable data to the marketing team so that they can continuously improve ongoing marketing programs and tactics. The metrics will also drive website changes to ensure an optimal website experience.
In addition, the successful candidate will have extensive website, online and social media experience with a B2B company. He/she will have developed and executed successful and profitable on-line and website strategies and be able to successfully lead and execute in a dynamic environment.
General Responsibilities:
• Develop a holistic online strategy for our clients NA Commercial Business, including the corporate website and other related sites, social media initiatives, search engine optimization (SEO), etc. • Increase overall site engagement by driving traffic to the site, maximizing depth and breadth of individual site visits and conversion as defined by each business. • Work with the marketing and external agency partners to develop and maintain a strong online value proposition and positioning and ensure that all websites are "user centric." • Supervise the day-to-day management and implementation of both corporate and business specific programs across all online properties that deliver against specific business and marketing goals. • Develop an ongoing social media strategy to increase client and prospect engagement, including but not limited to social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and content from video, podcasts and webcasts. • Partner with marketing communications to ensure online and digital strategies are consistent with off-line strategies; manage online projects from briefing to project completion ensuring a "360" approach with traditional media (PR, print, direct marketing, sales force support) across multiple digital channels (web, mobile, social, email, SEM). • Establish a core set of ROI metrics that provide insight and learning into program performance, are integrated into strategic thinking and impact on-going tactical implementation (maximize integration with Compass). • Ensure that our client's sites are optimized for search engines and search-engine marketing (SEM). • Serve as counsel to and partner with business marketing teams and other corporate departments on digital and social media strategies. • Recommend and lead appropriate marketing research initiatives to support digital and social media objectives. • Ensure consistency and adherence to corporate brand standards and that our client’s intellectual property is properly protected. • Provide management and oversight of eServices team consisting of product managers, media engineers, web producers, and third party agencies.
Experience: • Senior marketing or IT professional with 10-plus years of experience. • Extensive experience in business-to-business (B2B) marketing and experience in the security industry. • Understanding of the industries and businesses in which our client operates. • Strong brand and marketing communications skills and depth of experience developing marketing strategies and campaigns that deliver strong business results. Extensive experience developing business cases to get marketing budgets approved. • Highly developed critical thinking/analysis skills; ability to evaluate business challenges and develop solutions to support profitable business growth. • Combination of skills to be able to think strategically, operate at a senior level and also "roll up their sleeves" to do the work, as needed. • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to executives and a variety of audiences. Ability to give concise, compelling verbal presentations to senior decision-makers, and to respond quickly and thoughtfully to challenges and pushback in a meeting situation. Strong partnering skills with a focus on business unit satisfaction. • Adaptable and able to work in a changing environment. Experience restructuring and building organizations and building support with executives and key stakeholders. Demonstrated skills in managing organization change. Experience as a Manager and developer of staff.
