Executive Job Description | Our client is a well known investment management firm that provides hedge fund of funds and separate account management programs to non-profit organizations. Due to continued growth and success, they are seeking an experienced Consultant Relations Manager to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain consultant relationships and act as the main point of contact for institutional consulting firms
• Address concerns and issues with consultants to improve the brand and retain assets
• Provide consultants with information regarding offerings and absolute basis.
• Update and maintain notes and information in the sales management system
• Work with the investment team to schedule and prepare for meetings and ensure follow up
• Provide ongoing service for assigned consultant firms and communicate new offers and news items regarding the firm to consulting firms
Background Requirements:
• 5 plus years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably within consultant relations
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with all levels of seniority
• An understanding of alternative strategies, including private capital, commodities, natural resources and hedge funds
• Client focus with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects within a fast paced environment while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work
• BA/BS required
• MBA/CFA preferred
• Series 7 and 63 or the ability to obtain within 90 days
