Executive Job Description | Vice President Hospital/Integrated Healthcare Division Consulting Services
We are seeking a Vice President for Hospital/Integrated Healthcare Division Consulting Services. The Vice President will be responsible for business development, client service engagement delivery and quality assurance, team building, and thought leadership. In addition, he/she will develop and implement strategies to differentiate this firm as the leading healthcare continuum consultancy within the hospital/healthcare system sector. As such, the Vice President will be instrumental in both assuring continued relationships with current clients; as well as build, develop and cultivate new Senior and C-level relationships with integrated healthcare providers, academic medical centers, and large physician groups.
This individual will have experience delivering high-quality consulting services to hospital systems, healthcare facilities and similar companies. The successful candidate will also possess a demonstrable track record of selling, delivering and managing extremely visible consulting engagements. He/she will have earned exemplary recommendations from clients and colleagues as to the quality of this work.
Location: This position will be based out of the Minneapolis, MN area or Chicago, IL area but we are open to candidates outside of this area as this individual can work remotely.
Qualified candidates will possess the following: Minimum 8-10 years of successful provider-oriented healthcare consulting experience Advanced degree, such as MBA or MHA, preferred Superb team building and leadership skills Ability to manage a diverse and disperse group of consultants Known for outstanding client engagement outcomes, routinely exceeding expectations Excellent communication skills: written, presentation, facilitation Superb analytical capabilities Proven ability to assess client needs, assign appropriate resources and skills to the project, and develop strategic, yet practical recommendations Developed client base to serve as initial platform to communicate and establish knowledge and use of this firms unique capabilities Deep understanding of specific provider markets, products and services, market dynamics, challenges, trends and clinical operations Relevant experience in linking hospital/health system acute care to the broader healthcare continuum including sub-acute, skilled nursing, home and community based programs, hospice, patient care transitions as well as hospital-based post- acute care such as inpatient rehabilitation, long term acute (LTACH), and palliative care Clinical, strategic, financial and operational knowledge of post-acute venues High level of credibility with C-level executives, physicians, and boards High level of energy, sense of urgency, creativity, and decisiveness A passion for excellence and desire to have significant impact on his/her clients businesses, healthcare industry and company The highest standards of integrity, ethics and honesty
