Executive Job Description | Senior Manager, Strategic Planning and Business Development
Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for analyzing new business opportunities and supporting the development and implementation of strategic plans.
Responsibilities include:
• Identification and screening of opportunities that will bring growth in top/bottom line of the business • Leading execution of acquisitions and divestitures from start to finish • Conducting and overseeing financial analysis, including the development of detailed financial and operating models, valuations and ad hoc analyses as required by management • Interacting with company business units • Lead work and analysis within functional areas including tax, accounting, legal, treasury, and investor relations groups on transactions • Staying informed and knowledgeable on global industry trends • Staying abreast of financial and operational issues impacting Company performance • Establish and manage partnerships, joint ventures and alliances • Conduct negotiations with target companies, banks, and other institutions related to the transaction • Prepare presentations for Board and/or Executive Committee and obtain internal approvals
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in either Industrial Engineering or Business/Finance • MBA preferable • Previous experience in M&A/Banking • 10+ years investment banking/corporate finance experience • Experience in consumer goods • Strong M&A and transactional experience • Superior financial and modeling skills with sound understanding of accounting • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication/interpersonal skills with a strong teamwork orientation • Highly motivated with ability to multi-task • Strong leadership and follow-through skills • Detail-oriented and ability to think analytically • Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills • Spanish is a plus • International experience is a plus • Consulting experience is a plus
