Executive Job Description | Senior – with 15-20 years of experience, of which minimum 5 years relatively recent experience with a major Management & IT consulting firm (Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Satyam, IBM, CapGemini, HP/EDS, BearingPoint, CSC, IBM, etc.) • Candidates should have significant strategy type consulting experience in 3 or more of the following categories: IT strategy Governance Program management Resourcing strategy Application rationalization Project portfolio rationalization Architecture M&A Integration
• Experience in developing & delivering offshore/multi-location strategies is a plus • While having background in strategy type consulting is a must, experience in the industry also is a plus • Global working experience is a plus • Bachelors degree a must, Graduate degree preferred • Must have excellent communication, analytical & presentation skills • Good with Presentation and analytical tools
Part of a fast growing IT Strategy practice for North Americas. As Senior Manager the responsibilities of this position can be broken down into the following categories:
Business Development: support the account/sales teams in exploring opportunities – solicited or unsolicited by current and new clients independently develop business opportunities with existing or new clients lead or participate in the preparation of RFI/RFP responses to clients lead or participate in the development of service offering definitions, collateral material, and execution tool set
Client Engagement: lead or participate in client delivery work engagements can cover a fairly wide spectrum of IT strategy & governance type of work – most often involve conducting current state assessment of current IT practices, processes, application & project portfolios, resourcing strategy, service model; developing recommendations for a future state model, and developing an execution roadmap. participate in some ongoing implementation of recommended strategies
Practice Development: participate in development of service offerings participate in staffing and training activities for the practice lead or participate in developing presentations/white papers for conferences/publications (internal and external)
Mentor/supervise junior staff members Regular status reporting Bachelors degree a must, Graduate degree preferred Multiple locations in USA – NY/NJ/CT preferred
