Responsible for growing sales of assigned products in line with corporate growth goals.
Defines product strategy and roadmap for assigned products
Positions products based on specifications, price points, margin, delivery and other customer specifications
This job position requires compliance with ITAR Regulations. Therefore, all employees working in this capacity must meet citizenship status.
Per our Export Controls Policy and Procedure, the employee must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of product launches including product pricing and packaging, preparing marketing materials, and training of staff
Analyze the needs of the customer base and identify new product opportunities based on market demand and company direction
Communicate the requirements to Engineering and other areas in the company, including Sales, Operations and Management to ensure a clear understanding of the project objectives and deliverables
Gathers and organizes information relating to competitive offerings and demands for the product based on communication with customers, Sales, Operations and other Managers
Serves as key contact for input and interpretation of issue that impact product performance, sales, quality, cost or reliability
Has primary responsibility for working with the appropriate departments to resolve these issues as needed
Study competitors' products, strengths and weaknesses
Qualified Candidates will posses:
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering or Physics, MBA preferred
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Photonics Sector
Demonstrated success leading projects, developing project plans
Operational experience preferred-Excellent Teamwork skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Must be able to travel 20% of the time (domestic and international)
