Our client is seeking talented consultants to join their Health Technology and Operations team as a Senior Associate or Principal focused on the Health Payer and/or Pharmaceutical arenas.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
We are conducting several searches for Healthcare Operations and IT Senior Associate and Principal levels serving as CRM strategy, operations, and/or IT experts in the Healthcare space with a focus on payors/insurers and pharmaceutical clients.
The major responsibilities of a Senior Associate are to serve as a comprehensive project/engagement manager including: Planning, organizing, and driving project execution as well as guiding and directing junior team members Providing thought leadership and creative insights to help identify, clarify, and resolve complex issues critical to clients strategic success Developing key hypotheses and insights; defining and managing all data collection initiatives, structuring sophisticated analyses and managing daily interaction with clients to establish requirements and to ensure assignment progress Serving as the CRM, operational cost reduction, and/or IT expert on healthcare strategic transformation assignments, particularly in the Payer and Pharma areas Providing analysis and recommendations to payer/pharma industry clients in: o CRM strategy development and implementation o Cost reduction strategies and process improvement across all functional areas including CRM, Sales, Product development, Billing, Claims, Customer Service, and IT o Streamlining corporate functions through application of best practices and process re-engineering o Developing IT strategies and implementation plans Working closely with client team members to generate practical solutions and ensuring clients assume the ownership required for successful implementation Attracting, retaining, developing and motivating a team of highly qualified staff Developing long-term relationships with existing clients at a senior level including participating in client presentations and proposal writing
The major responsibilities at the Principal level incorporate those for the Senior Associate at a higher level managing and leading major client relationships as well as having the ability to sell new clients and significant client extensions.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal Senior Associate or Principal candidate will come directly from a top strategy boutique, top management consulting firm, or leading health payer or pharmaceutical firm with a position in CRM, Operations and Process Improvement, or IT. The key qualifications include: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant health payer and/or pharmaceutical CRM, operations, or IT experience showing progressive advancement and a record of achievement in: o a leading strategy, boutique or Big 4 consulting firm, or o in an internal consulting capacity, and/or o a health payer or pharmaceutical company role that had significant high visibility project work Expertise in developing new strategies, business models involving the implementation of operations improvement and cost reduction solutions in the Health Payer industry Experience in Payer (Health Insurance) or Pharmaceutical industry is required including familiarity with multiple functional areas and processes Excellent analytical and conceptual skills with the capability to structure and oversee sophisticated hypothesis-driven analyses Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management Assertive self-starter with a high degree of self-confidence and strong executive presence An advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) is required
