Executive Job Description	Advanced degree or equivalent job experience in health economics; knowledge of public health and medical countermeasure preparedness; minimum 5 years of work experience in public health preparedness and/or application of economic theory to health/public health issues; excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; excellent people skills, with a team-oriented leadership approach. Health economist to advise and support the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) Office of Policy and Planning (OPP) and BARDA in carrying out the medical countermeasure mission as defined under PAHPA, including measures for implementation of PAHPA; provide expertise to examine how limited resources for the medical countermeasure mission can best be allocated among various program and policy alternatives.. Activities include cost analysis studies of these medical countermeasures toward increasing public health emergency preparedness.
