Major Tasks: Establish value streams for business processes and identify critical project opportunities. Assist and execute Lean Sigma infrastructure development including (IT, Finance, Human Resources, Project Selection, Training, Communication). Manage cost tracking ERI2 system to track reportable savings. Develop and execute standardized work with visual control and management. Lead and facilitate Kaizen events to drive key performance indicators. Provide technical support as required to support key business initiatives. Develop and deliver Black Belt and Green belt Lean Sigma training with an emphasis on Lean manufacturing delivery. Provide Black Belt/Green Belt coaching as required and ensure successful project completion. Develop and modify training curriculum to align with business needs.
Skills and Requirements: BS in engineering or other technical field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Master Black Belt certification Led minimum 10 + Kaizen events and 5 DMAIC projects with at least 2 enterprise wide projects. Developed and delivered minimum of 5 waves of Lean Sigma Champion and Black Belt training. Coached minimum 20 Black Belts with sustainable financial results. Minimum of ten years of relevant experience, preferably within a global organization where outsourcing and contract manufacturing exists. Proficient with change management process, negotiation skills, and conflict management. Able to lead teams with indirect line relationship. Passionate about Operational Excellence and able to sell and showcase the companys programs as necessary. Demonstrated ability to work successfully in complex and global environments, including the ability to leverage company resources globally and navigate its matrix effectively. Ability to assess and generate creative and innovative approaches in a variety of manufacturing and business settings to eliminate waste and reduce process variation in line with lean methodology principles, as well as create better linkages across functions, divisions, and suppliers. Take a project management role in tactical implementation of strategic quality projects. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead peers to resolve barriers across multiple plants. Ability to anticipate potential barriers and work within the organization to resolve barriers before they create delays. Ability to identify issues for escalation to executive management with proposed recommendations for resolution. Proven results associated with change management efforts at the program, project, and business level.
