POSITION:
Health and Welfare Plans Manager - HR#352
HR Management - Benefits / Compensation Planning
Energy - Utilities

LOCATION:
New Jersey
No Relocations Expense Provided

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States
Green Card / Work Visa
7-10 years of experience with Health and Welfare plans.
Bachelor's degree or 8 years relevant work experience.

Required Competencies:
Thorough knowledge of benefit plan regulations, ERISA, HIPAA, IRS, DOL, SOX, PPACA, social security and tax laws.

Experience working with Union Members in the administration of benefit plans.
CEBS, CBP or SHRM
Experience with retirement plans (defined benefit and defined contribution) a plus
MBA a plus

CAREER OPPORTUNITY:
This position is responsible for the analysis, evaluation, implementation, and all aspects of administration of our health and welfare benefit plans (medical, dental, Rx, life insurance, LTD, etc.), including compliance, audits, appeals and plan documents, and ensuring website is kept current.

Responsible for the third-party vendor management of the administration of all health and welfare and voluntary benefit plans, and for supervising three benefits professionals. Additionally, monitor trends and applicable benefits legislation to ensure plans are compliant with such legislation. Implementing controls as required and conduct benefit surveys and other benchmarking as required. Supervise and provide back-up for benefit professionals responsible for preparation of 5500s, annual enrollment, benefit audits, workshops and presentations, filings and Medicare Part D subsidy. Responsible for spend components of health and welfare benefits fringe budget.
