Executive Job Description | One of the premier national HR consulting firms has recently created a new position for a senior level health and welfare benefits consultant in a growing and profitable practice. The firm has increased revenues about 40% per year over the past 4 years requiring the addition of a senior consultants to work with a team of senior consultants who are experts in the operations, finance and HR functions for major health provider organizations across the country. This person will be the lead H&W benefits project manager on this team. There is tremendous potential in this role and the firm has more projects than they can currently handle so there is no need to bring clients or do new business development. These are overall multi-million dollar consulting projects of which the H&W piece represents about 15-25% of the overall consulting projects.
We are looking for an experienced H&W consultant who can help with the design, funding and implementation of H&W plans for major employers in the healthcare field. These projects are carried through to completion so you will be doing more than just making recommendations. You will have the opportunity to see these projects through the implementation stage. Ten or more years of large Health and Welfare plans project experience needed and the ability to manage support people along with good client relations skills. They offer a very lucrative base and up to 30% bonus. (Bonuses have been paid in full the past 5 years). Travel to clients required. No weekends away from home. Can work from any location so no relocation is necessary.
