3. Job Description This position will be responsible for strategically identifying new business opportunities and finding innovative solutions for current and new customers and markets globally. The ideal candidate needs to have a proven track record of having developed and implemented solutions for B2B customers. He/she must have experience with world-class engineering, product management, design, implementation and roll-out of innovative solutions and products in a dynamic and fast moving environment.
Objective The objective of this position is to strategize and implement new solutions that generate new revenue streams, increase profit and build market share. Success in this position will be measured by development of scalable new business, solution opportunities, which will make significant impact on Companys revenues, market share, product portfolio and industry leadership. He/she will drive new solution business opportunities by identifying major target segments to invest and to engage on key flexible industry solutions; develop competitive services offerings in collaboration with other teams and pertinent strategic partners; implement innovative measures to build and manage delivery of business solutions to service customers. All this to result in promoting market awareness, increasing market share, penetrating into targeted areas and leading profitable growth.
Responsibilities The main responsibilities for the role include: Initiate and manage new solution business opportunity identification project pipeline. identify target verticals; identify key pain points for target verticals; create new solution Idea; track new solution development; develop new solution launch plans. Conduct market validation for new solution development and build tangible solution business models and action plans for immediate execution. Provide thought-leadership on business and technology aspects, and detailed hands-on engagement in all aspects of requirement gathering, product specification, development, launch and post-launch activities. Engage closely with the other teams to help determine the most feasible business model, solution implementation methods and reasonable execution schedules. Manage to enhance teams core capabilities including business planning, market feasibility evaluation for new solution development, technical evaluation, etc.
Requirements The ideal candidate will have balanced experiences in both the business and technical sides, and must bring successful track records of having developed and implemented solutions for B2B customers. The incumbent will bring years of world-class engineering and/or product management experience in the strategy, design, implementation, and roll-out capabilities in dynamic and fast-moving environment. Managing engineering and/or product teams with the ability to scale as required by market needs is critical and should be able to establish rapport with others quickly. It is crucial that this individual brings an entrepreneurial capability for identifying opportunities to contribute; creating a framework for analyzing a given opportunity; marshalling internal and external resources to drive execution; and achieving stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment. A demonstrated track record of taking products from concept to launch is required.
Competencies The critical competencies for the role include:
Experience in a hardware or software environment (either in an enterprise hardware company or an enterprise application company) for new products or solution launch projects. Experience of developing feasible solution business models with deep understandings of business ecosystem/requirements of vertical industries. Hospitality, Retail, Education, (SMB & QSR, Government & Public, Financial Service, Corporation Service, Transportation & Tourism etc.) Experience of implementing new solution business launch plans with identifying customers, partners and competitors in ecosystem. Experience of incubating new solution business by managing overall business processes such as R&D, production, marketing and sales etc. Experience in integrating systems for business model idea generation/suggestion. Track record of managing team with diversity in age (presently 20 staff), maturity and background. Capability to fit in well within a large organization requiring hands-on management. MBA, SI consulting, relevant mega-projects managing experiences preferred. Both English and Korean are must
