Here's a Snapshot of What You Will Be doing
In this new and exciting role, you'll lead medium to large project teams with responsibility for overall successful delivery of financial reporting and performance management solutions to a core group of Banking and Financial Markets clients. You will develop deep relationships within these client organizations and build effective cross-functional teams across diverse stake holder groups including client business and technical organizations, our client's domestic and global delivery organizations, and third party software vendors.
This is a prime opportunity to showcase your extensive experience with improving financial operations, financial systems, STAT, GAAP, financial and management reporting and product control in a Banking and/or Financial Markets organization. This will allow you to utilize your excellent client relationship skills, demonstrated effective team building, proven successful negotiation skills, ability to win proposals and add to an already impressive track record of consistently exceeding aggressive goals.
Here's a summary of what you'll need to qualify for this outstanding career growth opportunity.
• You will need a minimum of 5 years experience to include a relevant mixture of the following.
• Experience in consulting and/or in industry with GAAP, regulatory reporting and management reporting in the Banking and/or Financial Markets industry. Strong preference for experience with national or global consulting firm.
• Experience in re-engineering financial closing, reporting, allocations and other financial management practices for Banking and/or Financial Markets organizations.
• Experience in defining and implementing performance metrics, management accounting methodologies and performance management applications in financial services firms.
• Experience in exhibiting working knowledge of familiar shared services functional areas by calling on previous job experience and training, and practical insight into unfamiliar functional areas.
• Experience in processes improvement and/or cost reduction.
• Some experience in successfully leading teams in full life cycle, global implementation of a leading ERP vendor (Oracle, PeopleSoft or SAP, etc)
• Experience in understanding of Banking and/or Financial Markets-specific management and regulatory reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Readiness to travel up to 50%; travelling 3-4 days a week, home on weekends; live near any major US airport
