Executive Job Description	Mid-size national actuarial consulting firm has just created a new position for a group benefits health actuary in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area. The firm has recently acquired a number of new clients and has also developed new business with existing pension clients resulting in the need for an experienced health actuary to take over client projects. This is an opportunity to step into a growing practice and help consolidate their client relationships. The firm has state of the art technical support and excellent staff support. You will be overseeing the financial management of client relationships, managing large client projects while working with other experienced consultants, interacting with clients on a daily basis and making in-person presentations. You will be participating in practice leadership strategy & management. You will also help train and develop junior staff. We are looking for a credentialed actuary (ASA or FSA) with knowledge and experience in all aspects of the healthcare marketplace including plan design, pricing, benchmarking, financial management/analysis including experience projections and administration. FAS106 knowledge is a plus. Excellent salary and incentive bonuses, and will relocate to the NY metro area. Locations in New York City, Northern New Jersey and upstate New York.
