This is a consulting services business development and delivery role in complex and integrated environments for mid-sized clients. Your engagements may involve strategy, technology, process and organizational change initiatives in Insurance Process and Operations.
Here's a Snapshot of What You Will Be doing This opportunity will provide you with the ability to leverage your considerable expertise to help your clients transform financial, HR, and especially IT organizations into shared services and/or globally integrated functions.
When you assume your role as an Associate Partner, you will be leveraging your insurance market knowledge, sales track record, relationships with analysts, software vendors and executive relationships to lead your clients on an ambitious journey, identifying and delivering a step-change in financial and operational performance.
You will have direct accountability for method definition, offering refinement, practice hiring, performance management and overall successful sales and delivery of client engagements. This includes responsibility for direction and definition of approach for multiple projects, understanding client needs and shaping clients views on project deliverables.
The AP will help build the insurance operations team while providing hands on leadership, direction, and mentoring to the team as well as manage insurance client relationships. This individual must be capable of working in a time-compressed, highly dynamic & potentially ambiguous client situation to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.
Since the majority of your consulting work is done at client sites, this position requires 4-5 days of travel per week and willingness to travel extensively in various parts of the world.
Here's a summary of what you'll need to qualify for this outstanding career growth opportunity. You'll need 10+ years of experience, some of which must have in a leadership role in a professional services / consultancy firm. Experience in demonstrated analytical skills with proficiency in fundamental consulting and insurance operations tools, methods, and frameworks. Selling and delivering shared services/ Globally Integrated Enterprise (GIE) strategy and cost take out engagements to CXO level clients. Experience in the insurance industry including management consulting for financial services organizations Experience in delivering complex operations projects and initiatives with tangible results, working across organizational boundaries, and interfacing with senior executives. Readiness to travel up to 50% - 75%; travelling 4-5 days a week, some International travel; home on weekends if traveling nationally; live near any major US airport Relocation is not offered
