Executive Job Description	Summary: Location: Anchorage We have a need for a Sr. Analyst in our Financial Standards & Controls Department. This Internal Audit position is for a dynamic individual who has a strong background in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and who is also passionate about looking for an opportunity for advancement. This upwardly mobile position will conduct business process analysis with the goal of recommending modifications to established practices and procedures to meet business needs. This person will bring his or her strong communications skills to help provide accounting support within NANA Development Corporation (NDC) and its Subsidiaries. We will rely on this talented individual to design and perform internal audits to ensure compliance with NDC policies and procedures as well as with all applicable state and federal regulations while grooming this individual for upward mobility. The Successful Candidate will have: * Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, technology tools and accounting information systems * Strong communications skills, both written and verbal * Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related field (CPA/CIA and/or Advanced degree is preferred) * 4+ years of work related experience with an in-depth background in accounting, audit and SOX * In-depth knowledge of accounting and business process, including a strong understanding of internal controls systems * Advanced skills related to the consolidation of financial results and formulation and implementation of accounting procedures * Solid analytical and organizational abilities and effective communications skills are necessary * An ability to initiate change and drive improvement will be key * Proficiency with standard IT tools, Deltek Costpoint experience is strongly preferred * Experience with contracting activities and contractual arrangements with the Federal Government is strongly preferred.
